Artist Biography
Kareen Abdelnour
Born in Alexandria, Egypt, Kareen is Lebanese Greek and lives between Lebanon and France.
Since 1995, she has devoted her time to painting and has developed a unique style: a universe of femininity, full of curves and sensuality, defined in bold and lively acrylic colors on canvas. Always accompanied by a touch of fun and absurdity, Kareen Abdelnour’s paintings offer the viewer a surrealistic perspective on the world we live in
After her first solo exhibition “Femmes Je Vous Aime” in 2022 at Rebirth Beirut, Kareen returned to Rebirth Beirut with the “Au Fil De La Vie” collection, a series of delicate embroideries in April 2024.
