Artist Biography
Samir Tamari
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Samir Tamari began drawing and painting at a very young age.
He then pursued studies in Art and Advertising Techniques in Montreal, Canada.
It is in his beautiful village of Saghbine, in the West Bekaa, where he used to spend his summers, which eventually influenced his creative vision and strengthened his affinities regarding colors and shapes and immersed him in the simple real life of the villagers.
“An extraordinary emotional wealth” as he says.
The artist currently lives and works in Beirut, and participated in several exhibitions in Beirut, in June 2017, June 2018, October 2018, December 2019, June 2022, August 2022 LAU New York auction, Winks solo exhibition in September 2023 and Refresh solo exhibition in May 2024.
