Artist Biography

Claudine Bekhazi

Claudine is Lebanese-Greek and lives in Beirut.

With two Masters degrees from ALBA, the first in Interior Architecture and the second in Restoration of Icons, and with 20 years of experience as a professor of Plastic Arts, Claudine is multitalented.

She uses various mediums and has restored more than 60 paintings and more than 100 icons, notably one from the 16th century and three dated 1813.

Claudine presents a series of ink and graphite artworks representing women emerging from a delicate and organic world: mineral, vegetal and animal. A world of introspection. A fleeting moment.
