Artist Biography
Mahassen Ajam
Mahassen Ajam was born in Beirut, Lebanon, and spent her childhood surrounded by the beauty of the Mediterranean and its eastern Cedar-capped mountains.
Her Master’s Degree in Architecture has equipped her with valuable skills in design, painting, and sculpting. She settled in Paris, where she took sculpting courses at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts while finishing her Master’s degree in Urban Planning.
While she pursued a career in management consulting, she never lost her love for sculpting. In 2012, she followed her heart and dedicated more time to her true passion: creating art that expresses the beauty of the human body and the essence of human nature.
She shares her emotions using lines, curves, and colors to bring her sculptures to life. For her, sculptures are a way of connecting with the inner world and expressing the complexity of the human experience.
