Artist Biography

Chucrallah Fattouh

Chucrallah Fattouh is an established Lebanese painter and sculptor, born in Monsef, Lebanon in 1956. He graduated with honors from the National Institute of the Lebanese University’s Faculty of Fine Arts in 1983.

Fattouh’s artistic journey began at the age of 12 when he created his first painting inspired by the shores of his hometown. Following his graduation from the Lebanese University, he embarked on a distinguished career as an artist.

His artworks have been featured in over one hundred national and international exhibitions such as Sursock Museum (Beirut), Grand Palais (Paris), Scope Art Show (Miami), and have been auctioned at prestigious auction houses worldwide, including Bonhams (London) and Sotheby’s (London).

Throughout his career, Fattouh has achieved recognition for his exceptional contributions to the art world, earning several awards and acknowledgment from acclaimed critics. Notably, in 2007, he received a medal from Queen Elizabeth for his exhibition in Windsor, UK, during the GCC Polo Cup and an award from the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum for his exhibition in 2023 (Tokyo, Japan).

As featured in the prestigious Riviera Magazine in September 2011, Chucrallah Fattouh’s ‘Byblos: The Return to My Inspiration’ exhibition at Grand Central Art Center claimed 4th place among California Exhibitions

Some of Fattouh’s paintings are now part of the art collections of renowned figures such as David Rockefeller, Giorgio Armani and Queen Elizabeth.
